Our Mission

Wear the Word. Clothe a neighbor.

I AM THE WAY Clothing Co. exists to do two things at once: share the good news of Jesus, and put clothes on the backs of people who need them. Every piece you wear tells someone about Him, and every piece you buy helps clothe someone who has none.

The name

"I am the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6)

Our name comes straight from the words of Jesus. We're not the way, He is. Everything we make points back to Him, so every shirt, hat and tumbler can be a small, everyday way to say what you believe without saying a word.

Two coats

"He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none." (Luke 3:11)

John the Baptist gave a simple answer when people asked how to live out their faith: if you have more than you need, share it. That's the heart of our promise. For every item you buy, we donate an item to someone in need. When you buy one, you're the person with two coats, and one of them goes to a neighbor.

The least of these

"I was naked, and ye clothed me... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:36, 40)

Jesus said that when we care for people in need, we're caring for Him. We give through local churches and community ministries, the people who already know which families need a warm hoodie before winter or a clean shirt for a job interview, so every donation lands where it will truly help.

Faith you can see

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Faith isn't meant to stay hidden. Wearing the Word is a light people can see, and it opens doors to conversations about Jesus at the grocery store, the ballfield or the office. Giving is the good work behind it. James asks what good it does to tell someone in need "be ye warmed" and not give them what they need (James 2:15-16). We want to do both: speak the truth and meet the need.

Love over hate

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Our designs are bold, but the heart behind them is agape: the selfless love God shows us and calls us to show each other. We'd rather start conversations than arguments, and we'd rather open our hands than point fingers.

Every piece is printed or laser engraved to order at our shop in Copley, Ohio. Nothing sits in a warehouse, and nothing goes to waste. Please allow a few business days for your order to be made before it ships.
